Transitional Living Program

Housing and Independent Living

FOR YOUTH AGES 16-24 who are homeless or at risk of being homeless.

We help youth and young adults achieve stable housing. Combined with case management for education and employment, health services, and skill building, our wrap-around supports help youth build a foundation to move forward in their lives and be self-sufficient adults.

Note: This is not an emergency shelter program. If you are age 12-17, are experiencing family conflict and need immediate shelter, contact our Country Roads Program

Transitional Living Program

Master-Lease Apartments

TLP participants ages 16-21 live in master leased apartments and take part in life skills training, budgeting and financial planning sessions, and recreational activities. The TLP counselor also provides participants with emotional support and advocacy and connects them to area services such as job training programs, access to health care, mental health or substance use counseling, and education.

Housing Vouchers

Through our Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) we provide youth ages 16-25 who are homeless with 2 year housing vouchers to help them afford their own apartment, along with case management to help them find, secure, and maintain stable housing. We connect youth with other community supports such as job training programs, access to health care, mental health or substance use counseling, and education.

What youth are saying

"This program has made a huge difference. Things feel possible and I’m going to keep reaching for my goals, goals that I felt like I couldn’t achieve before because I felt like I was stuck.”
